Art in Speed Park has been established as one of Kentuckiana's favorite art shows. "The amazing quality of the artwork always is a great surprise to those that are new to Art in Speed Park" said Kim Johnson, the show's Director for 16 years. Easy access to the show with parking at nearby Silver Creek High School is one of the many perks in attending. The layout of the booths at Art in Speed Park make it easy to browse and buy artwork. The tree lined park provides plenty of shade while seating gives folks an opportunity to relax and enjoy the food and entertainment. The children take advantage of the park's playground located in the center of the park, within a parent's view.
The focus of Art in Speed Park is always on the Art itself. Pottery, stained and blown glass, jewelry, metal and stone sculpture, paintings, woodworking, are just some of the mediums featured at the show.
